Using the Playground: languages, input and limits
Updated Oct 23, 2026
The Playground runs code in your browser, with no setup. You can use it without an account.
Languages
C, C++, Python 3, Java, JavaScript (Node.js), TypeScript, Go, Rust, PHP and Ruby. Your code runs on the same sandbox that judges Progsity's exams and contests, so what runs here runs there.
Running code
- Open Playground and pick a language.
- Write your code. If it reads input, type the input in the Standard Input (stdin) box before you run. The program cannot ask you for input while it runs.
- Press Run. The output, any errors, and the time it took appear below.
Limits
- A run may take up to 10 seconds and 256 MB of memory. IDE Pro raises the time to 15 seconds.
- Without an account you can run 20 times a minute; with a free account, 60 a minute.
- There is no internet access from inside a program.
- Very long output is cut off, and the page says so.
With a free account
You can save up to 100 snippets, share a snippet by link, download it as a file and copy someone's public snippet to your own account. Saved snippets do not expire.
Something not working? Open a ticket in Playground and AI credits with the language, your code and what you saw.
