Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Progsity (“Progsity”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites, learning products, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). It applies to learners, instructors, institutional partners, and visitors unless a separate agreement states otherwise.

Controller: Progsity operates the Services and determines how personal data is processed for the purposes described below. If you engage us through an institution, your school or organization may also process information under its own policies — we encourage you to review both.

Information we collect: account details you provide (such as name, email, and profile information); course, quiz, and platform activity needed to deliver learning features; support messages you send; and limited technical data (such as device/browser type, approximate region, and security logs) to operate and protect the Services.

Payments: when you pay through our checkout partners, payment details are handled by the payment provider. We typically receive transaction references, amounts, and status — not your full card number.

How we use information: to provide and improve the Services; to authenticate users; to personalize learning experiences where enabled; to send important service notices; to analyze reliability and product usage in aggregate; to detect abuse and secure accounts; and to comply with legal obligations.

Processors and infrastructure: we rely on carefully selected vendors for hosting, delivery, email, media, and analytics. Examples include Cloudflare (networking and security), Bunny (video delivery where applicable), Brevo (transactional email), and Plausible (privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics where enabled). These providers process data under instructions and contractual safeguards appropriate to their role.

Retention: we keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements. Some logs and backups may persist for a limited period after deletion requests due to technical constraints.

Your choices and rights: depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information tied to your account. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details on our Contact page. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

International transfers: our infrastructure may involve processing in regions outside Bangladesh. Where required, we take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Children: the Services are not directed to children under the age where parental consent is required in your jurisdiction. If you believe we collected information from a child without proper authority, contact us and we will investigate.

Changes: we may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and adjust the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised policy.

Questions: if you have privacy concerns, email support@progsity.io from the address associated with your account when possible.

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Progsity’s Services. By creating an account, purchasing access, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility: you must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

Accounts and security: you are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Content and intellectual property: Progsity retains rights in the platform, branding, and original materials we provide. Course and quiz content may be owned by Progsity or third-party instructors; you receive a limited, non-exclusive license to access content for personal learning according to the purchase or enrollment terms. You may not copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute content outside what is expressly allowed.

User content: where you submit content (for example, quiz responses, code snippets, or forum-style messages), you grant Progsity a license to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate the Services — including grading, feedback, and institutional reporting where applicable.

Payments: prices are shown before checkout. For Bangladesh, we may support mobile financial services (such as bKash or Nagad) and card flows through our payment partners. You agree to the payment provider’s terms when completing a transaction. Taxes and fees may apply based on your location and payment method.

Refunds: refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy. To the maximum extent permitted by law, certain digital access grants may be non-refundable once delivered unless required otherwise by applicable consumer rules or an explicit written exception from Progsity.

Prohibited conduct: you may not attempt to compromise the Services, cheat on assessments, harass others, upload malware, mine data at scale, circumvent technical limits, or misuse institutional access. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

Disclaimers: the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Learning outcomes depend on individual effort; we do not guarantee jobs, scores, or certification outcomes.

Limitation of liability: to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Progsity is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of the Services. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid to Progsity for the specific offering in dispute during the three (3) months before the claim (or, if none, fifty US dollars), except where such limitation is not allowed.

Governing law: unless mandatory local law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and courts in Bangladesh have jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable rights you may have as a consumer.

Changes: we may update these Terms. We will post updates on this page and may provide additional notice for material changes where appropriate. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Contact: for legal or account questions, use the Contact page or email support@progsity.io.

Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for paid Progsity offerings (such as course enrollments and certain subscription or exam products). It is part of the broader Terms of Service.

General principle: digital education products often involve immediate access to materials or capacity. Where access has been substantially delivered or consumed, refunds may be limited to prevent abuse — but we will honor applicable consumer protection requirements in Bangladesh when they apply to your purchase.

Eligible requests: if you experience a verified technical failure that prevents access after payment, duplicate charges, or a clear checkout error attributable to Progsity, contact support with your order reference and evidence (screenshots, transaction IDs). We will investigate in good faith.

Timing: submit refund requests as soon as possible, and generally within seven (7) days of the payment date for digital goods, unless a specific product page states a different window. Older requests may be harder to verify with payment partners.

Process: email support@progsity.io from the account email when possible. Include your Progsity user email, date of payment, amount, payment method, and a short description. Our team will confirm eligibility and coordinate reversal or credit according to what the payment provider allows.

Non-refundable cases (examples): refunds may be denied when content or exam attempts have been substantially used; when a violation of the Terms led to suspension; when a promotional or custom institutional contract states separate rules; or when a third-party payment partner cannot reverse settlement.

Chargebacks: filing a payment dispute without first contacting us can delay resolution. Please reach out to support so we can help before you initiate a chargeback.

Updates: we may adjust this policy as our products evolve. The “Last updated” date on the Policies page reflects the latest version.
