Creating your account and confirming your email

Create an account

1. Press Sign Up at the top of any page.
2. Fill in your name, your email address and a password of at least 8 characters, then press Sign Up. Or press Continue with Google or Continue with GitHub instead.
3. You are signed in, and a short welcome page helps you start.

Confirm your email

After you sign up with an email and password, we send a confirmation link to that address. A confirmed email keeps password recovery working, and some things, such as the free Skill Test attempt, need it.

1. Open the email from Progsity and press the link. It works for 24 hours.
2. No email? Check your spam folder.
3. Still nothing, or the link has expired? Sign in and press Resend the link on the banner at the top of your dashboard.

Good to know

• Use one account for everything. Courses and contest results stay with the account that bought or earned them.
• Progsity never asks for your password or a one-time code, in a ticket, a message or a call.

Cannot sign up, or the email never arrives? Open a ticket in Account and sign-in, or write to us from the contact page if you cannot sign in.
